'Shit Show' In Shippensburg Street Halts Traffic (Photos)

A tractor pulling a trailer spilled its load of manure on Wednesday.

The stinky spill happened in the 8100 block of Molly Pitcher Highway North/US 11 in Southampton Township, Shippensburg around 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 13.

The roadway was closed between Clearfield Road and Temporary Drive, the Shippensburg Fire Department said.

The rollover caused delays between Mount Rock Road and Temporary Drive, according to PennDOT.

The "shit show" happened near Final Auto Drive Dealership, the local resident and photographer Alexis Santiago said in a post.

The area appears to have reopened before 5 p.m.

No injuries were reported.
